What are the benefits of this service for my vehicle?
This service is vitally important to improve visibility - for obvious safety reasons - and improve the overall appearance of your vehicles headlights. It is more cost-effective to have them restored than replaced as well as protected for years to come.
What separates your service from the headlight kits at the auto parts store?
Most restoration kits come with compounds to remove the base layer of oxidization, however they do not provide great protection from the problem arising again. Our service strips the oxidization and contamination off and replaces it with a polish to preserve the headlights for much longer.
Our Process
Step 1: Hand Wash and Dry
This is the first important step in making sure we have a sanitized surface with no loose contaminants. A complete drying helps to provide a bare surface upon which to begin the restoration service.
Step 2: Clay Headlights
Using a clay bar, embedded dirt is pulled from the headlight to expose any marks or scratches that may not be seen easily. Much like using a clay bar on a vehicle, this is to prep the headlight for the following steps.
Step 3: Sanding Down in Steps (800, 1000, 2000)
As the sanding process begins, thick layers of contaminants are removed from the headlight material. This is to further clean and leave a bare surface upon which to apply the polish.
Step 4: Fully Polish Headlight
This final step gives the headlights a clean and clear finish for everyday use. The polish is applied and allowed to set to cure and seal properly. Once cured, the headlight is restored to a like-new shine.
